One of my favorite shows back in the early 2000s was “Clean House” with Niecy Nash (no relation… that I know of). Each week, Niecy would go into someone’s house and help them with cleaning and decluttering their homes. It was cathartic to watch and I would imagine for Niecy and the crew, it must have been satisfying to be part of changing someone’s life. Someone who doesn’t have to imagine it is Marlena Masitto. Masitto is the owner/operator of Philly Methodical Freaks, a firm that specializes in organization and decluttering. Where are you originally from?
I was born in Marysville, Ohio, near Columbus.

Tell me a short-lived bit about your town.
Marysville was the first Honda motorcycle plant in the States, which is our claim to fame. I was born on Main Street, but it’s like a two-block-long Main Avenue. It’s a super small town.
