I don’t think this is any sort of news flash, but in case you were wondering: we are living in wicked times.
You can’t turn on a TV in your home or open an app on your handset without being exposed to some sort of godless propaganda.
Just this weekend I was watching an episode of Spidey and His Incredible Friends with my two-year-old when I spotted a modern character, Jerry, who was clearly going through some sort of identity crisis. The character was portrayed to physically resemble a male, but the voice was undoubtedly female. Sure enough, the other characters began referring to Jerry using “they/them” pronouns.
My heart burned as it sank.
I furiously Googled to verify my discovery. “Jerry, voiced by: Hayden Bishop. Bishop is non-binary and uses both she/her, he/him, it, and they/them pronouns.”
I looked over at my toddler boy who was, thankfully, none the wiser. For all he knew he was just enjoying some downtime with his mama and his best bud Spidey.

Was Spider-Man Polyamorous with His Amazing Friends Iceman and Firestar?
The animated series Spider-Man and His Astonishing Friends centers on Peter Parker's friendship with his superhero friends, Iceman and Firestar, with whom he does everything. Any show with a close cast of friends usually cause fans to speculate "Are any of them crushing on the other?" Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends is no exception.

Spider-Man has no long-term romance with Gwen Stacy or Mary Jane Watson in this series. Rather, the closest woman in his life, outside of Aunt May, is Angelica Jones/Firestar. While the majority of the interactions between Peter and Angel

Confused yet? Don't stress. It's really all about three friends gathering clues to solve crimes using both extra-special Spidey technology and non-superhero skills, prefer working together and developing patience. Villains are ever-present, like Doc Ock and Rhino, but the Spideys are lucky to include the help of some other Marvel Universe buddies like Black Panther (who shows up to transport vibranium to the local museum). While it's super-softened for the preschool crowd, characters are in peril, and there's lots of action. Villains throw things, but no one gets hit or hurt. Villains also get "webbed," wrapped in webs and incapacitated. The whole "Marvel Babies" concept may be a little odd for parents, and more cynical viewers might see the display as a way to get even younger kids interested in the expansive, lucrative Marvel franchise. But overall the show is charming, well-paced, and a solid choice for younger siblings who a
