Gay events palm springs 2023

Future Without Fear is the theme for this year’s Outfest, where I attended opening night Thursday evening. It’s been one of my favorite summertime events since moving to Los Angeles nearly 20 years ago. Over the decades, I’ve gotten to comprehend actors, filmmakers, fellow journalists and a community that celebrates diversity on the silver screen.

So last night was somewhat of a homecoming – seeing many familiar faces. Jason Stuart, who now calls Palm Springs home, was among them. He’s been a part of Outfest for many years. Dylan Mulvaney opened the evening and introduced trans filmmaker Aitch Alberto, director of the opening night motion picture Aristotle and Dante Detect the Secrets of the Universe. This marks the first time in Outfest’s history that both Opening and Closing night will feature films made by trans artists. Representation matters.

Now for something completely different: I’m off to Homosexual Wine Weekend in Sonoma, where temps will also be sizzling. No matter whether you are going to Outfest, San Diego Pride, Gay Wine Weekend, or the Mid-Summer Move Party, we’ve got you covered with all the events for July 2023. Stay hydrated!

A very queer celebration of music, gyrate , art and a uniquely Palm Springs experience. Featuring a caftan-laden pool party, a club darkness of extravagant proportions and an outdoor afternoon festival featuring the finest in queer talent and music under the sun and stars in the majestic backdrop of Mt. San Jacinto.

Thank you for joining us for Palm Springs Pride and Memorial Day Weekend the past two years! Stay tuned toour Instagram for our next series of events on in Palm Springs.

The month of December tends to zoom by – the hustle and bustle of holiday celebrations, shopping, and many ways to commemorate Christmas, New Year’s and all the others.

In fact, as I shared on “the Facebook” yesterday, there are approximately 29 holidays observed by seven of the world’s largest religions between November and mid-January. So “Happy Holidays” is an appropriate greeting.

I’m in Michigan with my family for a post-Thanksgiving, parent’s anniversary and verify in this week. I’ll return to Palm Springs in time for the Festival of Lights, then our corporation holiday party next week.

There are many ways to support those in demand over the holidays. It’s that accurate spirit of giving that makes it special to me and shifts it from a religious to a secular time. So: may your days be Merry & Glowing and may all your celebrations be all of the above…
