I am gay, reveals Prison Break celestial body Wentworth Miller

Prison Fracture star Wentworth Miller has revealed that he is queer in order to take a universal stand against homophobia in Russia. The 41-year-old star declined an invitation to a Russian motion picture festival after the country passed a series of anti-gay laws. He had been asked to attend the St. Petersburg International Production Festival, reported Hollywood Life.

Wentworth is foremost known for his role as Michael Scofield in Foxs Prison Break.

"As a gay man, I must decline," he wrote in his reply, which was made public by the campaigning organization GLAAD. "I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government. The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in fine conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly," Wentworth added said in his letter.

The thespian said if circumstances improved he would be free to make a distinct choice, adding that he had a degree of Russian ancestry and had enjoyed past visits to the nation previously. Russian Pres is michael scofield gay irl

From Prison Break to the silver screen, Miller acts, writes, and produces but refuses to accept another acting role written for a heterosexual man.
