Gay Singapore is rising fancy a fabulous phoenix from the ashes of COVID-19 and lockdowns.
Change is happening here. It's rapid, and it's exciting.
On our first trip to Singapore in August 2015 the anti-gay law was still in place. The gay scene was nonetheless thriving compared to other parts of Asia. Then, Covid happened and many places shut down, some never reopened, including iconic venues appreciate Taboo. We were updating this manual every month tediously removing queer venues from this reference as one by one they disappeared.

Brisbane (Meanjin)— or “Brissy” as it’s affectionately known — is the capital of Queensland and has a small, but active, gay scene.
We would first like to recognize the traditional owners of this land, the Turrbal and Yuggera peoples. We pay our respects to the elders past and present, and acknowledge their continued connection to the land, water and customs of this area.

The Cuckoo's Nest
Safesex
